I’m responsible for the overall investment strategy of the portfolio. I also manage some of our investments in our Venture Capital and Infrastructure buckets. As an ex-founder, I love living vicariously through our portfolio founders. When I work with them on their boards, or just as an informal supporter, I help them tap into Grok’s network of great peoples around the world, our collective learnings and hopefully ask quality questions to push them to new heights.

I was born in Hong Kong. I moved to Sydney in grade 5, and now call both cities “home.” After finishing law school, I knew I couldn’t be a lawyer, but married one instead! I started my career in M&A advisory – covering tech, media, food & agriculture After learning lots about working, I had to pursue my personal goal of being a founder. As a cofounder of three fintech startups, I experienced all the highs and lows of founder life – and then combined all of that experience to start Grok with Mike Cannon-Brookes in 2016.
