Head of Infrastructure
I’m responsible for the Infrastructure portfolio at Grok. We define infrastructure pretty broadly and are constantly on the lookout for what we believe will become the mainstream infrastructure opportunities of tomorrow.
I’ve spent the majority of my career thinking about sustainable energy. After completing a degree in Mechatronics, I joined a startup focused on demand side management and then worked as a nuclear design and commissioning engineer at Areva. Post-MBA, I pursued a career in investing and have worked in the infrastructure, private equity and mezzanine asset classes ever since. The majority of this time was spent at Vantage Capital, where I worked on multi-jurisdiction mezzanine/PE strategies and also helped establish several successful renewable energy funds. I’m at my best where my passion for investment and a better tomorrow intersect and I’m incredibly optimistic that capital can help shape the future we want for coming generations. I was born and raised in Cape Town before moving to Sydney.
